Blooming Tea

Blossom tea is made from edible flowers and herbs, while regular tea comes from the Camellia sinensis plant. Blossom teas offer unique flavors, aromas, and visual appeal, often without caffeine.

To brew blossom tea, use water heated to 170-195°F depending on the flowers used. Steep for 5-7 minutes in clear glass to appreciate the visual display. One serving typically requires 1-2 teaspoons of dried flowers.

Most blossom teas are naturally caffeine-free, making them suitable for evening consumption. The exception is when green or black tea leaves are included in the blend.

Consult healthcare providers before consuming blossom teas during pregnancy. While many are safe, some flowers may have contraindications.

Different flowers offer various benefits: Chamomile for relaxation, Hibiscus for cardiovascular health, Rose for skin health, and Chrysanthemum for immune support.
