China Pi Lo Chun ~

China Pi Lo Chun Organic is a high-quality green tea originating from the Jiangsu province of China. It is made from the finest tender buds, gathered and processed exclusively by hand. The tea is known for its perfumy and sweet floral notes, with a full body and slight earthiness. It has a lingering, aromatic finish and an interestingly floral-smoky character. The tea leaves are delicate and require careful handling to preserve their flavor and aroma. To prepare Pi Lo Chun, use 12 grams of tea leaves per liter of filtered water. Boil the water and cool it to 80?C (176?F). Allow the tea to brew for 2 minutes.

Pi Lo Chun, also known as Bi Luo Chun, is one of the ten best green teas in China. The name "Pi Lo Chun" translates to "green snail spring," which refers to the tea's appearance and the season in which it is harvested. Historically, the tea got its original name "scary fragrance" from a legend where a tea picker tucked extra leaves into her bosom, and the warmed leaves gave off a fragrance that startled her. This tea has been highly valued for its unique flavor and aroma for centuries and is considered a premium green tea in Chinese tea culture.
